The Association for Land Reform and Development (ALRD) organized a 13-day intensive training course on Digital Land Records and Surveys at the ADSC Training Center in Lalmatia, Dhaka.

The program was designed to strengthen the preparation of accurate and precise land records and plans, fostering mutual cooperation among landless communities, landowners, marginal and small farmers, indigenous peoples, and minorities. By equipping participants with essential technical knowledge and legal concepts, the training ensures their active involvement in digital land surveys and record preparation, enabling them to play a meaningful role in safeguarding land rights.

Conducted in collaboration with partner organizations, the training focused on areas where government land survey initiatives are ongoing or planned. It brought together a diverse group of staff, volunteers, lawyers, journalists, and activists engaged in land rights and conflict resolution.

In total, 23 participants from across the country successfully completed the course, gaining the skills necessary to contribute to a more inclusive, transparent, and participatory land governance system.
